About Me

Eliana (Ellie) Barth is a NYC and Hudson Valley based pianist, music director, educator and composer. She recently graduated from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam with a B.M. in Music Education and Music Composition.

Eliana was very active as a student musician. During the spring semester of her senior year, she presented multiple recitals, including one in composition and one in solo piano. Many of her compositions were performed by student groups. In addition to being a solo artist, she is a collaborative pianist and supported many students in their lessons, studio performances, and recitals. She even spent a summer in Novafeltria, Italy as a collaborative pianist for La Musica Lirica, working with opera singers from all over the world.

Eliana is very passionate about musical theater and music direction. Eliana made her professional music directing debut at the Green Room 42 in Manhattan this past January. This past semester, she directed SUNY Potsdam’s LoKo Broadway Showcase entitled “Broadway Hits and Misfits,” a program entirely created by her and executed by both her and her fellow classmates.

Eliana is a spirited music educator, currently with her own private music students. She is trained to teach piano, violin and voice. She will be spending this summer at Camp Kawanhee for Boys in Weld, Maine establishing a brand new music and choral program. She will return home in the fall to finish her student teaching.

Eliana is eager to begin her professional career as a music director and is actively looking for work! Please reach out to her via email or this website with any inquiries.
